I’m soooo close to finishing this piece, I almost want to stay up until it’s done…however that would probably have me up for days. I reckon I could probably knock it over in 3 – 4 decent sessions.

There’s nothing better than coming home after day 5 of 5, knowing you have a few days off and ALL the time in the world for stitching! This is my start point for today…with a little bit already done at the top left…

Even on my days off I keep similar hours to when I’m working. It’s just after 01:30 and I just woke up. I’ve taken my morning dump and am enjoying a lovely cup of instant coffee (3 teaspoonfuls) before I head to the gym for a night time workout before coming home to stitch…and watch…

It’s been a while since I posted but since June I’ve come up with the idea to crochet again…this time a plethora of granny squares sewn together to make a big mthr fkn blanket 🙂 Stay tuned…

I have a finish! 🤩 It took a little longer than expected but I got there. Now to add a few finishing touches, then frame for its recipient.

At the start of the month I started stitching something else…the patchwork elephant. It will be a surprise for a certain little someone, who I am related to… shhhhhh it’s a secret 😉

I’m definitely in for the long haul with this one!

So far I’ve stitched 3339 stitches of the 581175 for this pattern or 0.57%! At the current rate, it will take at least 4 years to complete. The photos shows the width of 675 stitches.
